Task 3.5 Technical and Testing Deliverables : Documents that are considered confidential to the production and results of the manufactured products will be marked “CONFIDENTIAL”.

FCS Project 6 - U.S. Rubber Recycling DK Enterprises worked with U.S. Rubber Recycling and Intertek (Lake Forest, CA) to coordinate the testing that U.S, Rubber Recycling will make them competitive. They are replacing the cork with tire rubber. QuietSound RRC Underlayment is a flooring underlayment. (RRC stands for Rapidly Renewable Cork.) The new product will be used in schools, hospitals, hotels and condominiums. QuietSound RRC will have very low VOCs and can be installed under most types of grouted, glued and floating floors (no adhesive required for floating floors), including ceramic tile, stone, and engineered woods. QuietSound RRC will contribute to energy conservation and will qualify for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental design) points under the U.S. Green Building Council’s established rules.
