Figure 6 QuietSound RRC Underlayment

QuietSound RRC is comprised of 90 percent tire rubber and 10 percent cork. The tire rubber used includes 10, 20 and 30 mesh crumb rubber, as well as 30 mesh buffings. USRR will sell the QuietSound RRC direct to developers, contractors and via distributors, throughout North America and internationally (e.g., South America, Middle East, Asia). USRR has identified specific sales opportunities totaling approximately 2.3 million square feet, that would use about 2 million pounds of rubber. Task 3.6 Material testing: Acoustical tests were performed on the Quiet Sound RRC Underlayment by Intertek (Lake Forest, CA). Thirty-one tests were completed on 3mm, 5mm, 12 mm, and 18” open web truss assemblies .
