was most interested in. Following each consultation, a short consultation report was prepared. Additional follow-up services were offered to the firms, as budget resources remained after the initial consultations were completed. Ten of the firms received some level of follow-up services based on this solicitation. Services provided to TBAP grantees under this task were carefully separated from services they received through the TBAP grants directly. The firms all started from very different vantage points, with some having very advanced marketing programs targeting government agencies and/or architects, and some being more in the early stages. In general, consultations included: Feedback on current and planned marketing activities for specific products; Clarification of opportunities and channels for identifying and executing sales; Messaging and information needs, and opportunities to meet these needs; Specific GSA documentation and process needs and expectations (e.g., Schedule 78 or VA Schedule requirements); and General questions and answers related to the marketing focus of each firm. See instructions at the link above.) 5.5 Tire Recycling Incentive Study: Phase 1 Scoping In late 2011, CalRecycle directed SAIC to assist in scoping out a possible study on incentive programs for tire recycling market development. Several other states as well as Canadian Provinces and European nations have implemented a variety of such programs, as well as closely related extended producer responsibility programs. SAIC interviewed select stakeholders and prepared a draft outline for a study to review and analyze such programs. Task 5.5 Deliverables Provided with Final Contract Report: Memorandum with draft outline and approach 5.6 Tire Recycling Incentive Study: Phase 2 Conduct Analysis After discussing the proposed report with stakeholders, CalRecycle directed SAIC to conduct the study scoped out under Task 5.5 above.
