Task 2 Program Marketing Objectives: Effectively market TBAP services to prospective businesses for the 2011 grant cycle. Assist CalRecycle in adjusting TBAP program policies and procedures to maximize beneficial outcomes. When the TBAP Grants Contract took effect on May 15, 2011, the TBAP 4 Grant Cycle was already well underway, with the deadline for applications only a couple weeks away. SAIC quickly mobilized to assist in promoting the program to prospective applicants by compiling a list of candidate firms from previous TBAP marketing efforts and tasks. Team members reached out to selected, priority categories of firms via email and telephone. The effort helped to ensure a successful application cycle, with 30 firms submitting applications, and 22 firms eventually being awarded TBAP service grants. Eight applicants were either disqualified by CalRecycle or chose to withdraw their application. For example, some firms were determined to be start-up operations with no history of producing products and no current operations, and some firms were determined
to not have adequate California-based operating facilities. Task 2 Deliverables Provided with Final Contract Report: ï‚· TBAP Cycle 4 applicant prospect list and notes on outreach results
