Experience I own and operate JPS Design Group, a graphic art house. My photographic, graphic art and web design experience has spanned nearly 30 years of providing quality work. In the past 30 years, I have developed a company with a strong reputation in the areas of computerized graphic arts, photography, web based applications development, and website design. With this ability, JPS Design Group has been able to break from the traditional restraints of graphic arts/internet. This has allowed JPS Design Group to offer a more complete graphic art service to our clients — incorporating a much greater use and interaction between graphics, illustrations, text, photography and online experience. In just the last several years, JPS Design Group has taken on and completed three major catalogs, two marketing programs, two major financial websites and numerous other smaller projects. In all cases, JPS Design Group took these projects from their original concepts to the final products – suppling all of the conceptual ideas, writing, illustrating, photography, graphic design, publication design, etc. All of this was performed completely in-house allowing for better and more complete control of the content and quality of the product. Our client base which represents our diversity is very pleased with the quality and promptness of our services. The majority of the graphic arts, photography, web and printed pieces that we have completed for our clients have resulted in successful campaigns and promotions.

Credentials I have completed a four year degree in mechanical engineer and have taught photography at high school and adult classes in Pennsylvania for three years in the early 80’s. Since then, I have done the majority of my photographic and graphic arts in support of my company. My portfolio of graphic art work is fairly strong and well diversified. The large majority of the graphic art portfolio is focused on industrial/commercial businesses. In the area of combined graphic arts, photography, internet and publication design, we have been fairly successful and competitive. We have received recognition in several local and national shows for our work in graphic arts and photography. We supply technical and creative assistance/direction to a large daily newspaper, a major advertising agency and numerous international corporations. Graphic Art / Web Capabilities We have a completely computerized graphic art studio based on the Macintosh system. We utilize dozen Macintosh workstations to perform a wide variety of graphic art services. Some of these services include line art, illustrating, 3D illustrating/animation, CAD, type design, keylining, photo retouching, page layout, publication design, web site design and web based application design.
