safety surfacing systems

SpectraPour safety surfacing has been our flagship poured in place system since its inception in 1986. SpectraPour has been used on thousands of projects throughout the US on parks, schools, daycare centers and other applications requiring a high quality, poured rubber safety surface. SpectraPour meets the requirements of the California CalRecycle Tire Derived Product (TDP) Grant Program. SpectraPour is available in 24 colors, and may be used to create playgrounds in a wide range of shapes and designs. Because it is formed in place, SpectraPour may be used to provide ADA access to existing playgrounds; retrofit existing play areas, and to fill entire new playgrounds with quality rubber surfacing. SpectraPour conforms to ASTM F1292 for head impact protection, as well as ASTM F1951 for wheelchair accessibility. SpectraPour is comprised of a layer of cushioning rubber tire materials, with a ½” thick wearing surface of rubber granules. Fall heights from 4’ CFH to 12’ CFH may be accommodated with SpectraPour. Additionally SpectraPour is IPEMA certified. IPEMA, the International Play Equipment Manufacturer’s Association is an independent, third party evaluator which reviews quality of materials installation and to maintain SpectraTurf adherence to ASTM, ADA and other standards.
