LEED Benefits Of Tire Derived Products LEED BENEFITS OF TIRE DERIVED PRODUCTS
Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED ® ) provides a set of standards and guidelines for energy efficient and environmentally sustainable design. The LEED rating system examines environmental and sustainability issues around location and transportation, sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, and indoor environmental quality. Tire Derived Products can qualify for credits in a number of LEED rating systems, such as: • Building Design + Construction (BD+C) applies to most buildings undergoing new construction or major renovations and includes credits for many building types: • LEED DB+C: New Construction Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED ® ) provides a set of standards and guidelines for energy efficient and environmentally sustainabl design.
