Sierra Rubber Play is an innovative replacement for traditional loose-fill materials such as wood chips, sand or gravel and looks great year round. Made from 100% California recycled tires, the play surface is environmentally friendly and provides a safe play surface for children. Sierra Rubber Play is the natural choice due to its soft spring like quality when installed in a fairly thick layer adding extra safety for children if they fall off of the playground equipment. When properly installed Sierra Rubber Play provides critical fall height protection of 14’with a nine inch depth and 12’with a six inch depth as per ASTM F1292-09 and ASTM F1951-99.
